I've been tagged!

1. I love being with friends. I love just hanging out and talking or going out to movies or something like that.

2. I am always listening to music. I pretty much listen to everything as long as it has a good beat or good tune!

3. On weekends I watch football games with my mom (if its football season... if not we watch the sport that is in season)

4.My favorite tv show is One Tree Hill. Me, my sister, and my mom all sit down every monday night and watch it together.

5. My favorite movie is Remember the Titans.... there are tons more but that is my fav.

6. I look forward to meeting with my D-Group girls every Wed. night!! I love them so much and love the talks that we have!!

7. I love going over to Gwen's house whenever I can! I love her so much and she is such an inspiration to me! Her kids are wonderful and it is so much fun to go over and help her with her kids and help her around the house!!

Praise Him in the storm!

It’s hard to find strength to praise the Lord when tragedies hit. One of my friends lost her mom this weekend and it has been so hard. We have been praying constantly and loving her so much. She is so strong! It’s hard to understand how she is so strong through all of this. She has taught me how to praise God in the midst of the biggest storms. Many times praising Him is the furthest thing from our minds when we are hurting. All we want to do is get mad at God for putting us though such a hard time. My friend has shown her strength through praising Him continuously. She thanks Him and praises His name every time she talks about her mom.

The Lord knows exactly how much heartache and pain we can endure. He will never give us more than we can handle. He walks with us ever step of everyday and will not let our feet slip. He is our rock and our salvation. He has a bigger plan than any of us can imagine for our pain and heartache. He uses situations like this for His glory and His honor.
